Commodities (Pvt) Ltd., which was incorporated in
February 1998 to conduct business as a Tea Broker to the
Sri Lankan tea Industry. Although relatively young in
age, our people have widespread experience, expertise
and contacts in the tea industry. Siyaka, a name which
in ancient Sanskrit means "through your own efforts" has
proved to be the guiding force which makes the team
strive to redefine the standards of service offered to
tea estates..
In association with Asia Capital Limited, a financial
giant in Sri Lanka and Siyaka (Pvt) Limited's, tea
expertise Asia Siyaka Commodities (Pvt) Limited, has
become the most favored name for marketing and
plantation services.
Asia Siyaka represents the largest number of tea
factories in the low grown sector though our clientele
extends to all tea growing districts in the Island.
Asia Siyaka's modern state-of-the-art warehouse is the
largest and most sophisticated tea warehousing system in
Sri Lanka and probably South Asia. We warehouse an
average of 12 million lbs. of tea per day, deliver
160,000 samples to the tea trade each week, and manage
the logistics between 150 sellers and 100 buyers. |
